Maxine Mawhinney


Maxine Mawhinney is a BBC TV News presenter, interviewer and journalist.  She presents the BBC One lunchtime news at the weekends, when she can also be seen on the BBC News Channel.

She also has wide experience of the healthcare world, where she has an international reputation as a presentation, media and communication coach.

An accomplished speaker and moderator with a passion for communication, she has delivered a TED talk in London and is well-known for her work with female executives, scientists and academics. 

As a communicator Maxine brings her unparalleled  experience to the corporate world and  is extremely sought after for her top level training of executives. She has worked with many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies including GSK, Janssen, AstraZeneca and Bayer. She works with leading academics, including at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, to help them improve the impact of their talks.
